Frequently Asked Questions
What type of clients do you
work best with?
1
The clients I work with are ready to make meaningful change. They are proactive, open to being challenged, and willing to explore new ways of working through their difficulties. Couples are able to reflect on their own role in the dynamic and stay engaged between sessions to practice new ways of relating and communicating.
How do I get started?
Start with a free 30-minute phone consultation, where I can learn more about what brings you in and answer any questions you have. If it feels like a good fit for the both of us, we can schedule your first session.
2
Do you accept insurance?
No, I do not. However, I can provide a superbill for you to submit to your insurance for potential reimbursement. Superbills usually requires a mental health diagnosis, so we’ll discuss your symptoms together and determine whether a diagnosis is appropriate for your situation.

What can I expect in the
first session?
4
We’ll dive right into your history and why you’re seeking therapy, as well as your family and relationship background and the life experiences that have shaped you. I’ll highlight your strengths, identify your coping skills and share how I see our work together unfolding.
